Description and Content of 3D-Dig Dumping

Description

In this course, you will be introduced to the unique 3D-Dig Dump Simulation method. After learning how to dump material along a line or within an area, you will see how dumps can be limited by a surface. Dumping in passes will then be introduced, along with examples of how to use this method to quickly build complex dumps. Finally, you will learn how to color-code material as it is dumped, in order to distinguish different material types within 3D-Dig dumps.

Objectives

The purpose of this course is to help you get started with using dumping functionality in 3D-Dig. Working through the lessons of this course, you will:

  • See the uniqueness and value of the 3D-Dig method of building dumps.
  • Learn to dump material along a line or within an area.
  • Understand how dumps can be limited by a surface.
  • Quickly build complex dumps using the method of dumping in passes.
  • Distinguish different materials within dumps by using color-coded dumping.
